TAKS Handling Systems has developed a modular system for the complete handling of the harvest process of your bell peppers, from plant to transport. After the harvest, the bins with the bell peppers are carefully emptied by the bell pepper tipper. The transport containers (duo-boxes) are then automatically filled with bell peppers, either with or without going through a built-in buffer, optionally followed by the automatic stacking of the boxes to make your bell peppers ready for transport.
Fully automated, from harvest to packaging
This high-quality harvest processing system automates the entire process. AGV containers or transport containers (duo-boxes) are automatically weighed and gradually emptied by the tipper, to prevent damaging. The data of each emptying is linked to registration and as a result actual information is available immediately. Various (buffer) conveyors transport the bell peppers in high speed to a sorting machine. After the sorting and packing, the TAKS Handling Systems palletizer will automatically stack the boxes on pallets.
This type of harvest system can be easily extended with automated registration of container weight, buffers, packaging tables and workstations like flow wrapper systems and checkweighers.
